The Superbowl, new stamps & Copic journal pages

Hi crafty peeps! Sorry I have been quiet! I got a new part time job with my dogs’ groomer, so I have been a little busy!
I am really excited about the Copic journal pages I have to share today!

The first page I made in support and celebration of the Seahawks winning the Super Bowl! I colored Formal Mae in Hawks’ colors – she is a digital stamp from Some Odd Girl, my very favorite stamp company! I colored her with the following Copics:

Hair: E37, 35, 33, 31, 30 and E59, 57
Skin: E21, 11, 02, 01, 00
Eyes: G29, 19, 14, 00
Dress: YG07, YG05, YG01
and B18, 16, 14, 12

The next page came together just this morning! I purchased Kimono Kaylee to color this weekend, but didn’t get to her until this Monday morning. It rained all night, but then the sun came out and it put me in such a wonderful, creative mood! I’ve been dying to use this Japanese paper that I purchased at a rubber stamp convention. It is made in Japan. I also used washi tape, also Japanese! I really love how the page turned out. I really love the Japanese culture, and I can thank my great Aunt Helen and my college roommate, Rika, for that!
Here are the Copic colors I used:

Hair: R000, R20, R21, R22, R24
Skin: E000, E00, E01, E11, E31
Kimono: BG78, BG75, BG13, BG11, BG10, Y28, YR0000, YR000, YR01, W8, W7, W5
Socks: N0

I love working in my Copic journal, because it is just for me! I make cards and give them away, which I love doing! But I love to color, and when I keep some images for myself, I can see my progress and note favorite color combos!
