The owner of one of my favorite stamp companies, Simply B Stamps, is turning 40! Betty Queen of Halloween Roberts’ birthday is today, November 10th!
Many of her fans and customers were in on a secret to make birthday cards for her with a secret image! It was such a fun image to color!
I know she’s going to be thrilled when she receives all the cards in the mail! We surely love Betty! Happy Birthday Betty!
Here is my card for Betty!
Crafty peeps! I love this new combo for a rosy skin tone!
See photos for the colors used; they are listed in the order I applied them to the image. The image is from Saturated Canary, a fave digital stamp!
What do you think? There’s no wrong way to color so experiment!
Hey crafty peeps! I am really trying to catch up on all of my posting! I know not many people read my blog, I really write it for myself, but I do appreciate those that do and I thank you for being here.
These are just some miscellaneous coloring I have done recently, images I love but haven’t put on a project yet. Sometimes I just color for fun without a card in mind. It’s so relaxing!
Hello crafty peeps in crafty land! I was so excited to get my hands on the Magical Bean rubber stamp kit last month from The Greeting Farm! These images were perfect for summer! I had a lot of fun coloring these beauties with my Copic markers! I had all of them colored in one weekend! They are so stinkin’ cute!
Oh I just love ’em! What do you think?
Hey there crafty peeps! I know it has been a while since my last post. Life has been busy and crazy; this summer we have moved to a new home! All of July was spent purging, packing, and moving! In order to keep my sanity, I have done a lot of coloring and crafting.
I hope you like my latest Copic journal pages, and other cards and projects! Thanks for stopping by!
Hi crafty peeps and happy Friday! I had a busy morning making several cards, which was great because my mojo was missing all week!
I made a set of cards for my favorite baristas at my favorite coffee house! I wanted to gift them today, but the sequins were not dry yet! So they’ll have to wait until next week.
I used Cuppa Mae, a digital stamp from Some Odd Girl. This is a great image because I adore coffee and tea! And I even used the java jackets from my many visits to Hurricane Coffee! Clever, huh? LOL
I made another card using another digital stamp from Some Odd Girl called Sway Mae. This is one of my favorite images as well because you can use her for any occasion! This yellow and purple card says “You’re A Gem” which could be a hello card or thank you card.
I hope you like these cards! Everyone have a great weekend! We’re just chillin’ at home this weekend and I’m hoping to get crafty!
Happy Friday crafty peeps! It’s time to enter another challenge over at the Simply Betty Stamps blog, and this month we got to work with the beautiful witch, Mercedes!
She was really fun to color.
I picked out my background first, which is purple corrugated cardboard from DCWV. I was really excited to use this; I have been wanting to try the cardboard for a while now.
Building the card from there, I die cut some shapes from a Stampin’ Up die and included stickers from Cosmo Cricket and Jolee’s. The sentiment is from patterned paper by DCWV again. Of course I always add a few gems! A card is not complete without some sparkle.
I hope you like my card; go check out the other entries at Simply Betty Stamps
Good luck to all the entries!
Hello crafty chicas! My swap partner has received their card for the swap over at Some Odd World
So that means that I can share it with you now!
I really put a lot of love and effort into my card because it was for the fabulous Katie Perry, who has this blog, Kards by Katie which I check all the time. Just love her style, both in cards and writing!
Ok so about the card: I started with a ready-embossed card from Michael’s, then applied several chalk inks from Memento, swirling and dabbing all over the raised design.
Next, I stuck on some washi tape from Making Memories. Then I applied the sentiment banner and Miss You Mae image with foam squares.
I love how it turned out! And Katie liked it, too!
Thanks for stopping by!
Hello again to my crafty peeps! Can you believe it’s almost the weekend? My week has flown by and I even got some crafting done. I made a few cards but I can’t show you those because they are off to a magazine submission and swap partners. But I can show you the Copic Journal pages I finished! I used Dare To Be Gwen, Miss You Mae and Call Me Mae (I think that’s her name!). All colored with Copics.
Hope you like the pages! Have a great weekend!
Yo crafty peeps! I have been having so much fun with the new clear stamp set from Some Odd Girl, Dare To Be Gwen!
Isn’t she adorable? I had a lot of fun paper piecing her skirt!
These will make it onto cards and a Copic journal page really soon!
